About Me
For 22 years, I have been working as a psychotherapist in New York. I earned my Law degree from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland. In the United States, I completed my studies at the Graduate Schools of Social Services at Fordham University in New York, followed by a two-year postgraduate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. Additionally, I expanded my knowledge and skills by completing training in cognitive-behavioral therapy at the Beck Institute in New York. In my practice, I integrate psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, tailoring therapy methods to meet the individual needs of my patients.
My profession is extremely important to me, and despite many years of experience, I continually deepen my therapeutic knowledge. I hold a therapist license in both New York and Illinois. In addition to individual therapy, I provide support for individuals who have experienced trauma related to domestic violence or other challenging life experiences, as well as those suffering from chronic neurological diseases and cancer.
My virtual office is a safe and inclusive space. I have lived in New York for 25 years and consider it my home. Thanks to my profession, I have the privilege of being part of a highly diverse and inspiring community. My experience in two different professions and cultures allows me to offer a more universal and adaptable therapeutic approach tailored to the unique needs of my patients.
